About me
I have always had a passion for vehicles and have owned a wide variety over the years, from a small Fiat Abarth to a Jeep Wrangler, with plenty in between. Keeping my own vehicle, as well as those of friends and family, in great condition has always been something I take great pride in. I decided to channel that passion into a mobile valeting business. I enjoy the satisfaction that comes from achieving a high-quality finish and would definitely enjoy valeting your dirty car and having a chat!
WHY PELICAN?
I’ve always wanted to work under a name that is both recognisable and memorable.
So, why Pelican? No, pelicans don’t carry water around for drinking or storage—but they are certainly mobile and, while hunting for fish, they do unintentionally collect it along the way.
A pelican’s impressive throat pouch (known as a gular pouch) acts like a built-in fishing net. They scoop up fish and water together, then tip their heads forward to drain the excess water before enjoying their catch.
So there you have it: pelicans are mobile, they collect water, and they adapt to their environment—qualities I like to think reflect my own approach to mobile valeting. A little unusual, perhaps, but memorable… just like the name!
